Sido Live in Kitzingen:
VERANTEC Delivered a Spectacular Experience

Before a sold-out crowd, German rap star Sido continued his successful “Live mit Dir 2024” tour on July 6th, 2024 with one of only four open-air shows – this one taking place at the Stadtbalkon in Kitzingen near Würzburg.
VERANTEC provided the full package: lighting, sound, and media technology for this unforgettable event.

Working closely with organizer Manfred Hertlein, our experienced production manager fine-tuned every technical detail to ensure the setup was perfectly tailored to Sido’s requirements and the unique vibe of the venue.

The Setup

We installed a 15×10 m SmartStage as the main stage, extended with a Layher side stage to create a truly commanding presence.

The Sound

For audio, we relied on our state-of-the-art d&b loudspeaker systems. Each side of the main PA featured 16 KSL tops, all array processed for precise coverage.
Down low, a powerful sub array made up of both SL and KSL subs delivered massive bass pressure. To ensure consistent sound across the impressive 110-meter depth of the venue, we added two delay lines, each expanded with KSL sub extensions for a punchy, even bass response all the way to the back.

The visuals were produced using our trusted camera systems from Panasonic and Blackmagic, and mixed live via our Analog Way Aquilon media server.
