MISSION READY Festival 2024 in Geiselwind:
Punk Rock on Two Stages – Powered by VERANTEC

On June 29th, 2024, the fifth edition of the MISSION READY Festival took place for the first time at the Eventzentrum Strohofer in Geiselwind. As the largest punk rock festival in the region, it once again brought international bands and exciting newcomers from the punk, hardcore, and ska scenes to the stage. With 12 bands and headliner Sum 41, the event became an unforgettable highlight for fans of loud guitars and raw energy.

VERANTEC Behind the Scenes

Our work began on Thursday, when our vehicle fleet rolled into the event center. The festival featured two stages, both fully equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology from VERANTEC — delivered as a full-service solution for the organizer.

Outdoor: Mission Stage

For the outdoor Mission Stage, we deployed our mobile 6×8 m trailer stage, powered by a Y-Series line array and V-Subs from d&b, and lit with high-performance Robe lighting fixtures.

Indoor: Ready Stage

The indoor Ready Stage, located inside the venue’s main hall, featured Robe Q8 and MegaPointe lighting, expertly programmed and operated by our lighting designer for each individual band.

For audio, we trusted in the power of the KSL Series for the main PA, supported by a compact Y-Series delay line. The sub array was a hybrid of KSL and SL subs, delivering massive low-end pressure.

Both at Front of House and monitor positions, our engineers handled mixes for every band traveling without their own crew – keeping things smooth and loud. Naturally, we once again relied on our trusted Yamaha Rivage series – PM7 on monitors and PM5 at FOH. What else :-)!

A Fiery Finale

The night ended with a bang as Sum 41 took the stage for a spectacular closing set. The Canadian band fully embraced our installed pyrotechnics, lighting up the room with fiery effects that sent the crowd into a final frenzy.

Our Contribution

VERANTEC played a key role in making the first-ever MISSION READY at this new location a full-scale success. Our team of technicians supported both stages throughout the entire festival, ensuring every performance ran seamlessly and was tailored to the artists’ needs. With top-level equipment and experienced crew, we made sure every act was presented at its very best.
