Hafensommer Würzburg: Partnering with VERANTEC for the 15th Time

Set against the impressive industrial backdrop of the Old Harbor, next to the Kulturspeicher, the Würzburg Hafensommer takes place every year. The cultural event kicks off annually with a performance by the Philharmonic Orchestra Würzburg. Over the course of nearly three weeks, artists from music and cabaret present their work. World music and jazz, as well as international stars and new talents, feature prominently alongside the unique view. Visitors gather on the large outdoor steps behind the heating plant— all framed by the extraordinary setting of a floating stage, industrial heritage, and a stunning view of the vineyards.

Celebrating 15 Years as Technical Partner

This year marks our 15th anniversary as the technical partner for this cultural event—a milestone that fills us with pride and joy. As a full-service provider, we once again deliver stage, lighting, and sound technology, ensuring everything needed for a great show in this extraordinary location.

Setup begins a full week in advance. Together with divers, we secure the floating stage floor and install our 12×10 meter stage roof. Equipped with lighting technology from Roxx and Robe, this creates a unique lighting concept. For perfect sound, we rely on our state-of-the-art d&b audio system. Thanks to our qualified technicians, the sound is precisely calibrated to ensure every seat is perfectly covered. Whether it’s a solo artist, symphony orchestra, newcomer, or world star—we deliver ideal sound and stage each act so every visitor enjoys an unforgettable Hafensommer experience.
