Chris Norman Live – An Evening Full of Hits and Technical Excellence Thanks to VERANTEC’s Full Service

On Saturday, November 2, 2024, the Würzburg tectake ARENA rocked during the Chris Norman concert, supported by the 80s legend Münchener Freiheit. But behind this sonorous evening filled with captivating melodies was a powerhouse of technology and precision – delivered by VERANTEC! With our full-service package, we ensured perfect sound, impressive lighting, and an unforgettable concert experience.

Sound That Touches the Soul

To perfectly stage these top-tier performers, a highly professional event technology setup was essential. To ensure this, we put together an impressive package:

For the audio technology, we deployed a range of powerful systems from d&b audiotechnik: The main PA was equipped with d&b XSL8/12, complemented by a center cluster of d&b Y loudspeakers. For the deep, penetrating bass that the audience could feel, we relied on our tried-and-true d&b KSL subwoofers.

In addition to the Shure PSM1000 in-ear system, we provided monitoring for both acts with d&b M2 and M4 monitors.

We were also responsible for microphones and stage cabling to guarantee maximum quality. For the latter, we used our special LK37 system, developed together with Klotz, featuring an integrated split that allows FOH and monitor consoles to operate independently without interfering with each other.

Chris Norman’s production trusted the Yamaha PM5 Rivage for monitoring and the PM3 Rivage for FOH, while Münchener Freiheit used a Yamaha DM7 as their front-of-house console – all provided by VERANTEC, of course!

Light Show That Made the Evening Shine

Of course, the visual experience had to be perfect as well. Implemented according to the light plots of both acts with an impressive selection of the latest generation lighting systems:

Robe MegaPointe, Spiider, Esprite, and Tetras for dynamic effects, complemented by Roxx 4Light and 2Light blinders as well as SGM Q8. This combination bathed the stage in atmospheric light and enhanced the mood of every single song.

For the light operator of Münchener Freiheit, we provided one of our GrandMA3 lights according to the rider. Precision down to the smallest detail – that’s our standard.
