Believe in Rock’n’Roll – Rock meets Classic 2025 with VERANTEC Full-Service for the 3rd Time
This year, Rock meets Classic celebrates a special anniversary — 15 years — and VERANTEC has been entrusted for the third consecutive time with the full technical production, as powerful voices, driving guitars, and symphonic grandeur share the stage.
From Regensburg to Berlin, we are providing full technical services for all shows on the Believe in Rock’n’Roll Tour 2025. Sounds like a lot of work? It sure is. But hey — we live for those goosebump moments.
A Tour with Legends — and an Orchestra
This year, promoter Manfred Hertlein once again brings a lineup to the stage that stands proudly alongside the best: Lita Ford (The Runaways), Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath), Mal McNulty (Slade), Fran Cosmo (Boston), and John Elefante (Kansas) — accompanied by the powerful RMC Band and the RMC Symphony Orchestra. It doesn’t get much more rock history than this.
Our Mission: Inspiring Promoters, Artists, and Audiences
The tour has been running since April 2 and will culminate in the final show on April 20 at Berlin’s Tempodrom. Across 12 cities, we are responsible for the complete technical support:
- Sound reinforcement for band, orchestra & vocals (d&b audiotechnik, Yamaha, Shure)
- Lighting design for every goosebump moment (Robe, SGM, Roxx, MA Lighting)
- LED walls and media technology for full visual impact (Led Tek, Analog Way, Panasonic)
- Trucking & logistics with four fully loaded semi-trailers (Mercedes Benz, Krone)
- Technical direction by our Flo, who keeps everything under control
- Manpower: 11 technicians and 4 truck drivers
We started intensive preparations already four weeks before the tour began: the elaborate lighting design was carefully prepped, sound technology efficiently assembled into touring racks, and logistics for our four trucks planned down to the smallest detail. This allowed us to calmly and methodically start the five days of rehearsals and then move perfectly planned into the various venues.
Everyone works hand in hand — calmly, structured, and focused — exactly how you want it for productions of this scale.
The Dress Rehearsals – Our Final Touches
We used the five rehearsal days before the first show in Regensburg to refine the stage design, optimize workflows, and efficiently prepare the final cables. Every piece of equipment finds its place in cases and ultimately in the truck. Because one thing is clear: when it comes to live atmosphere and emotional highlights, everything has to be absolutely perfect.
Why do we do it? Because we love it.
Rock meets Classic is more than just a job for us. It’s that thrill when the orchestra kicks in and the hall shakes. It’s the moment when lights, sound, and show merge into one powerful feeling. And it’s our drive to prepare everything technically so that only one thing can unfold on stage: pure music.
We’re thrilled to be part of this amazing tour again in 2025 — alongside Manfred Hertlein and his team, the fantastic lineup of artists, and our own seasoned technical crew who know exactly how to bring great rock ’n’ roll together with the symphonic sounds of the orchestra to the stage.
