Digital annual general meetings have been officially permitted in Germany since 2020 – initially as a necessary response to the COVID-19 pandemic. But what was once a temporary solution has long since evolved into a modern format that opens up new avenues of communication for companies: efficient, transparent, and location-independent.

The hybrid event format has also become established at Koenig & Bauer AG—the long-established printing press manufacturer based in Würzburg. What was implemented purely digitally in the early years evolved, by 2022 at the latest, into a combination of an in-person event and professional livestream broadcasting.

At Koenig & Bauer’s 100th Annual General Meeting at the Vogel Convention Center, we were once again entrusted with the technical implementation of the hybrid format.
